Rooted in Vietnam, Inspired by Nature

ChaaÔ began with a simple idea: to create lasting value for Vietnamese agricultural ingredients through value-added processing.

In Vietnam, seasonal harvests bring an abundance of exceptional spices and fruits, but also challenges in preserving freshness, managing supply, and finding markets. Through further processing and product development, we aim to turn these ingredients into versatile products that can be enjoyed beyond the harvest season.

Our purpose is to introduce international customers to the distinctive flavors and outstanding quality of Vietnamese spices and fruits, while creating more opportunities for the agricultural communities behind them.

Our journey started with ginger—a familiar ingredient in Vietnamese kitchens, loved for its bold aroma and warming taste. We set out to capture that character in a truly distinctive syrup, keeping real ginger at the heart of the recipe.

Rethinking Syrup

Drawing on honey-processing expertise dating back to the 1980s, we naturally turned to honey when rethinking syrup without refined sugar. Its distinctive sweetness and depth complement the bold intensity of real ginger.

Combining our knowledge of honey with carefully controlled processing, we craft syrups that preserve the character of their ingredients without added preservatives.

Today, we also use palmyra nectar as an alternative sweetener and explore Vietnamese ingredients such as chili, turmeric, cinnamon and kumquat—all guided by the same commitment: no refined sugar, no artificial flavors, no artificial colors, and no preservatives.
